9/07 – present: President, Domingue, Szabo & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, Lafayette, Louisiana – Responsible for business management and overall supervision and control of the business affairs and employees of the company. In addition to his duties as president, he is also active in supervising project managers and engineers. He remains active in project management and supervision for projects such as: (1) Sucrose Drive Wastewater Treatment Plant and Force Main for the City of New Iberia ($30 million project cost); (2) Ambassador Caffery Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Lafayette Utilities System ($23 million construction cost); (3) Facility Expansion for Coil Tubing Services ($2 million construction cost); (4) Levee and Storm Drainage Pumping Improvements for the St. Mary Parish Consolidated Drainage District No. 2 ($5 million project cost).

6/91 – 8/07: Chief Engineer, Domingue, Szabo & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, Lafayette, Louisiana – Responsible for quality control and supervision of technical aspects of the company’s operations. In addition to supervising project engineers, duties include project management and supervision for projects such as: (1) 1.0 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Town of Bunkie, LA ($2.7 million construction cost); (2) North & South Water Treatment Plant, Lime Sludge Thickeners for the City of Lafayette, LA ($1.2 million construction cost); (3) North & South Water Treatment Plant, Backwash Water Separation for the City of Lafayette, LA ($1.3 million construction cost); (4) Iota, LA Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade ($900,000 construction cost); (5) Lafayette Airport Terminal Apron Improvements for the Lafayette Regional Airport ($2 million construction cost); (6) Lafayette Regional Airport Petroleum Helicopters Repair Facility & Offices ($25 million construction cost); (7) Dowell Schlumberger, Maurice Facility ($3 million construction cost).

6/80 – 1/81: E.I.T.-I for the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development, District 03 Office, Lafayette, LA – Assistant field inspector, interpreted construction drawings in field, inspected reinforcement for concrete drainage structures, performed concrete slump tests, made concrete test cylinders, performed field density tests for soil compaction, assisted in setting grades for field installation, assisted in horizontal control layout and various other field work associated with highway construction. Typical projects included LA Highway 347 through Cecilia, LA; LA 182 Interchange at Interstate Highway I-49.
