Chris Richard, P.E., a Project Manager with the consulting engineering firm of Domingue, Szabo & Associates, Inc., was awarded the Waldemar S. Nelson President’s Award by the Louisiana Engineering Society. The award is given annually to an engineer who has provided outstanding service to the Society, in an unselfish manner in keeping with the highest professional standards.

Richard has been with DSA since 1991, working on various municipal water, wastewater and drainage projects.

He is a USL graduate and a registered professional civil engineer in Louisiana and Florida and environmental engineer in Louisiana.

He is currently serving as the Second Vice President of the Louisiana Engineering Society as well as the State Chair of the LES Constitution and By-Laws Committee.
