1998 – Chris Richard, a project manager with the consulting engineering firm of Domingue, Szabo & Associates, has received the Louisiana Engineering Society’s 1998 F. Hugh Coughlin Award of Merit for Young Engineers.
The award is to an engineer 35 or younger who has demonstrated a high degree of capabilities in his or her chosen field of engineering.
Richard has been with DSA since 1991, working on various municipal water, wastewater and drainage projects.
He is a USL graduate and a registered professional civil engineer in Louisiana and Florida and environmental engineer in Louisiana.
He is currently serving as state chairman of the Young Engineers Committee of the Louisiana Engineering Society.
